Thiocolchicoside

Thiocolchicoside (CAS 602-41-5) is a semi-synthetic sulfur-containing derivative of the naturally occurring colchicoside, isolated from the dried seeds of Colchicum autumnale. It acts as a competitive GABAA receptor antagonist and glycine receptor agonist, providing centrally acting muscle relaxant properties.
