Citrulline Malate is a compound formed by the combination of L-citrulline (a naturally occurring amino acid) and DL-malic acid (an organic acid involved in the Krebs cycle). The combination synergistically supports nitric oxide (NO) production, energy metabolism, and athletic performance. It is available in two molar ratios:

  • 2:1 Citrulline Malate: The most common form for sports nutrition (approx. 67% citrulline / 33% malate).

  • 1:1 Citrullina malato: Higher malate content (approx. 50% citrulline / 50% malate), suitable for specific formulation requirements.

L-Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that serves as a precursor to L-arginine and nitric oxide (NO), supporting vasodilation, blood flow, and muscle recovery.
