Taurochenodeoxycholic acid (TCDCA) is a naturally occurring conjugated bile acid, formed by the amidation of chenodeoxycholic acid with taurine. It is a primary bile acid in humans and plays a central role in lipid digestion and the enterohepatic circulation.
