Boswellic Acid

Boswellic acid (CAS 631-69-9) is a pentacyclic triterpene isolated from the gum resin of Boswellia serrata, a botanical source with centuries of use in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. Our product is standardized to ≥65% total boswellic acids by HPLC, ensuring consistent levels of α- and β-boswellic acid — the primary bioactive constituents. It is supplied as a white to off-white crystalline powder, suitable for incorporation into capsules, tablets, and lipid-based formulations.

We manufacture this material under controlled conditions, with every batch verified for assay, residual solvents, and heavy metals. The compound is poorly soluble in water but dissolves readily in ethanol and oils, which makes it well-suited for self-emulsifying delivery systems and softgel applications.
