Mitoquinone Bromide(putry 25% MitoQ)

MitoQ, commonly known as MitoQ, is a lipophilic cation-conjugated ubiquinone derivative designed to target mitochondria. It consists of the active antioxidant moiety (ubiquinone) covalently linked to a triphenylphosphonium (TPP⁺) cation via a ten-carbon alkyl linker. 

Once localized within mitochondria, Mitoquinone is continuously reduced to its active ubiquinol form by the mitochondrial respiratory chain, providing sustained antioxidant protection against the high local flux of reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated during oxidative phosphorylation. At the same time, the TPP⁺ moiety is recycled back to the active ubiquinone form, allowing repeated cycles of antioxidant activity.

Mitoquinone is one of the most extensively studied mitochondria-targeted antioxidants, with clinical trials investigating its potential in cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, and renal health applications. Its targeted delivery distinguishes it from conventional antioxidants that accumulate in mitochondria only passively and at low concentrations.
