Cottonseed oligosaccharides are a group of α-galactosyl derivatives of sucrose, principally stachyose, raffinose, and verbascose, isolated from defatted cottonseed meal through aqueous extraction and membrane purification. We supply this product as a free-flowing white to off-white powder with a total oligosaccharide content of 90% minimum, standardized by HPLC.
These oligosaccharides have gained traction in the dietary supplement and functional food sectors for their prebiotic properties, selectively promoting beneficial gut microflora. The product is produced under controlled conditions to ensure consistency, low endotoxin load, and absence of residual gossypol, making it suitable for human nutrition and animal feed applications.
