Astragalus polysaccharide is a water-soluble active fraction extracted from the dried roots of Astragalus membranaceus, a leguminous herb with a long history in traditional Chinese medicine. The product is manufactured via hot-water extraction, ethanol precipitation, and spray drying, yielding a fine powder with a polysaccharide content of at least 70% (UV). It is widely used in immune-support supplements, functional foods, and veterinary nutrition.
