Fluralaner

Fluralaner (CAS 864731-61-3) is a systemic isoxazoline ectoparasiticide developed for veterinary use, primarily in dogs and cats. It acts by inhibiting GABA- and glutamate-gated chloride channels, which leads to rapid paralysis and death of fleas and ticks. Supplied as a white to off-white crystalline powder with ≥98% purity (HPLC), this API is suitable for oral and topical formulations.

With a rapid onset of action and long-lasting efficacy (up to 12 weeks in dogs), fluralaner has become a preferred choice for veterinary parasiticide products. Its low toxicity profile and broad-spectrum activity make it a reliable ingredient for both spot-on and chewable tablet formulations.
