Scutellaria baicalensis Extract is a standardized botanical concentrate derived from the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis, a perennial herb native to East Asia. Known in Traditional Chinese Medicine as Huang Qin (黄芩), it has been used for centuries to treat respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, and inflammatory conditions. The extract is standardized to 85% baicalin, the primary bioactive flavonoid glycoside responsible for many of its therapeutic effects.
