punicalagin

Punicalagin is a large polyphenolic compound—an ellagitannin—found predominantly in pomegranate (Punica granatum) husk and other plant sources. It exists as two anomers, alpha and beta, which interconvert in solution, and is known for its potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Our punicalagin is extracted from pomegranate husk and purified to ≥98% (HPLC), yielding a dark brown powder with a characteristic astringent taste.

This product is intended for use in dietary supplements, functional foods, and cosmetic formulations where a standardized, high-purity ellagitannin is required. It is supplied with batch-specific COA, MSDS, and TDS, and is manufactured following strict quality control procedures.
