Sennosides

Sennosides are the primary anthraquinone glycosides isolated from the dried leaves and pods of Cassia angustifolia (Tinnevelly senna) and Cassia acutifolia (Alexandrian senna). We supply them as a standardized brown powder with a total sennoside content of 8% (UV), meeting the requirements of major pharmacopeias. Each batch is accompanied by a certificate of analysis, MSDS, and TDS.

This material is widely used in laxative formulations, both in OTC products and prescription-based bowel cleansing preparations. It is also a common ingredient in herbal dietary supplements aimed at digestive health and weight management.

Every batch is tested for assay (UV), loss on drying (≤5.0%), heavy metals (≤10 ppm), and microbial limits (total plate count ≤1000 CFU/g, yeast & mold ≤100 CFU/g, absence of E. coli и Salmonella). Full COA, MSDS, and TDS are available on request; stability data can be provided for qualification.
