Ligustilide

Ligustilide (CAS 4431-01-0) is a naturally occurring phthalide found in the essential oils of Ligusticum chuanxiong oraz Angelica sinensis, two herbs deeply rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. As a lipophilic compound, it is valued for its stability in lipid-based formulations and its role as a marker compound for quality control of these botanicals.
