Triclabendazole

Triclabendazole (CAS 68786-66-3) is a halogenated benzimidazole anthelmintic, distinguished by its potent activity against immature and adult Fasciola hepatica y Fasciola gigantica. It is the drug of choice for fascioliasis in livestock, and its unique mode of action—disrupting microtubule formation by binding to tubulin—ensures efficacy against flukes that have developed resistance to other benzimidazoles.
