Imidacloprid

Imidacloprid (CAS 138261-41-3) is a neonicotinoid insecticide widely used in crop protection and veterinary ectoparasite control. As a systemic compound, it acts as an agonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in insects, disrupting nerve transmission and leading to rapid paralysis and death.
