Hypericin

Hypericin (CAS 548-04-9) is a naturally occurring anthraquinone derivative found in plants of the genus Hypericum (St. John’s Wort). It is a red pigment with potent photodynamic activity, making it a key compound for research in photodynamic therapy (PDT), antiviral mechanisms, and neuropharmacology. Our hypericin is isolated from botanical sources and purified to ≥98% (HPLC), supplied as a dark red to brown crystalline powder.
