Benflumetol (lumefantrine) is a synthetic arylamino alcohol antimalarial, structurally related to quinine and mefloquine. It acts by inhibiting heme polymerization within the parasite’s digestive vacuole, leading to parasite death. Supplied as a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder with ≥98% purity by HPLC, it is the standard partner drug in artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs), most notably with artemether.
This product is intended for pharmaceutical formulation and research use. Each batch is released with a certificate of analysis, and documentation is available to support regulatory submissions.
Synonyms: Lumefantrine, Benflumetol, (±)-2,7-Dichloro-α-(2-(dibutylamino)ethyl)-9-((4-chlorophenyl)methylene)-9H-fluorene-4-methanol, CP-15,456, Benflumetol (INN)
Every batch is tested for assay (HPLC ≥98%), loss on drying (≤0.5%), heavy metals (≤10 ppm), and residual solvents per ICH guidelines. A full COA, MSDS, and TDS are provided with shipment; stability data and impurity profiles are available on request for qualification.
Standard packaging: 1 kg, 5 kg, 25 kg; custom packing and bulk quantities available. In-stock items ship within 3–5 business days; MOQ from 1 kg. For pricing, samples, or technical questions, contact our sales team.
