Cinchonidine

Cinchonidine (CAS 485-71-2) is a cinchona alkaloid isolated from the bark of Cinchona species, structurally similar to quinine but with opposite configuration at C8 and C9. It is supplied as a white to off-white crystalline powder with ≥98% purity by HPLC, and is widely used as a chiral ligand in asymmetric synthesis and as a pharmaceutical intermediate.
