Fisetin (3,3′,4′,7-tetrahydroxyflavone) is a naturally occurring flavonol belonging to the flavonoid class of polyphenolic compounds.
It is found in a variety of plant sources, including strawberries, apples, persimmons, grapes, onions, cucumbers, and the smoke tree (Cotinus coggygria), from which it was first isolated. Among dietary flavonoids, fisetin is particularly abundant in strawberries, with concentrations comparable to or exceeding those of other well-known flavonoids.

Rhus succedanea-98%FISETIN
fisetin has been recognized as a promising senolytic agent, with studies demonstrating its ability to selectively eliminate senescent cells and reduce age-related dysfunction in various tissues. This has positioned fisetin as a compound of particular interest in the field of healthy aging and longevity research.
Its pleiotropic bioactivities also support applications in neuroprotection, cognitive health, metabolic function, and skin health.
Potent antioxidant: Directly scavenges ROS and chelates metal ions.
Senolytic activity: Selectively induces apoptosis in senescent cells, reducing SASP (senescence-associated secretory phenotype).
SIRT1 activation: Modulates sirtuin-mediated pathways involved in cellular stress resistance and metabolism.
Anti-inflammatory effect: Inhibits NF-κB, COX-2, and pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6).
Neuroprotective activity: Supports neuronal survival, synaptic plasticity, and cognitive function.
Anti-aging / Longevity support: Promotes cellular health and extends healthspan in preclinical models.
Source: Cotinus coggygria (smoke tree)
Standardization: ≥98.0% fisetin (HPLC)
Forms: Crystalline powder (natural or synthetic origin)
Applications: Dietary supplements (healthy aging, cognitive, metabolic), pharmaceutical research, cosmetic formulations
